Times like this make me remember how lucky I am.
P80 14 Cents for This?!
Yes indeedy. These frames have been waiting for real pictures forever. I couldn't take the stock photo these frames had anymore, as all my visitors thought it was the same picture of me and the little guy in all of them. I found scrapbook paper at Michael's for 14 cents each. Doing this whole wall cost me under $1.50. Not too bad, huh?

P76 The Letter of the Day: "F"
"F" is the start of many a great word. Fun. Freedom. FLOOD. Yes, FLOOD. We had a flood in the basement today. It could have been much worse, so we are thankful for that. But when I saw this foam letter floating about on the basement floor, "FLOOD" wasn't the word that came to mind. Use your imagination, please.

Another race down. How many more hundred to go? Hubs finished the Chambersburg 1/2 Marathon today, and the kiddos and I were there to cheer him on. It was sunny (a lot better than last year's race day) but cold and windy. Right after this picture, hubby just about tossed the yogurt he had pre-race. Maybe I should have taken a picture of that? Way to go, baby!

P67 Happy Anniversary
Today is our 9th Wedding Anniversary. Hubby had to work tonight so I wasn't able to get any good pictures of us loving each other up. Instead, I thought I'd take a picture of something representing the day: a heart. This is an "installation" in the works. I have had these baskets forever, just waiting to put them on the wall somewhere. They will eventually be painted, but for now they hang in Lo's room as is. I love you, hubs.

P57 This Dang Bucket!
This is not the first bucket I made for London. She needed one for preschool, and I decided to put my creative tendencies to use. I spray painted it with a bright red (the paint was "supposed" to be plastic-friendly). Uh, I don't think so. Flaked, chipped, nasty - the night before she needed it, of course. I decided I am not going to paint a bucket again, so I whipped out some left-over yarn. This is the result.
