P112 Nice Way to Spend a Birthday
Drinking wine with friends, eating yummy food, meeting new ladies. This was such a fun night. And the birthday cake wasn't too shabby, either.

OMG! Hubs and the kiddos took me here for my birthday. I fell in love. The cheese, the meats, the chocolate. It was just all super yummy. As you can see here, London loved the chocolate fondue almost as much as momma did.
P110 One of Two Paintings
I'm just a busy bee this week when it comes to paintings. I have been working on this one for a Canvas and Corks class I am teaching next week, and I need to start working on an abstract painting I am donating to the Council for the Arts Fundraiser. Although it feels great to be painting again, it also means a lot of late nights.

I am so proud of Hubs and the wonderful things he has accomplished in both his military and professional careers. Although he will kill me when he sees I posted this (he's very a very modest soul,) I really don't care. I can't help it. When I see his ribbons and medals on his chest, I get all misty-eyed. It may not be the Happy Hour that I enjoyed pre-kids, but this will do. I love me some Diet Strawberry Limeades from Sonic. They are my weakness.

It's always fun to whip out the saw. Wearing the protective glasses makes me feel especially professional, to boot.

If I wasn't so busy preventing paints from being flung across the room, this wouldn't have been my only picture of the day. After a handful of pics, things pretty much went downhill from here. But what a fun hill to go down.
P96 Cheese! Momma Has a New Camera
I am super geeked. Hubs got me a camera for my birthday. I cannot imagine life before my Canon Rebel t2i. In fact, I don't think that life is worth living with her. xoxo
