P115 Painting and Drinking

Could there be any better combination? I had such a great time teaching this Canvas & Cork class at a local gallery. These ladies rocked it out, don't you think?

P114 Green is Your Color

You look pretty good in stripes, too. Just make sure they aren't the prison stripe kind.

P113 A New Handmade Headband

I've been dabbling in headband-making for a bit now, and I came up with this one today. I am pretty darn happy with this one; not only because of the cuteness factor but it was so darn inexpensive to make.

P112 Nice Way to Spend a Birthday

Drinking wine with friends, eating yummy food, meeting new ladies. This was such a fun night. And the birthday cake wasn't too shabby, either.

P111 The Melting Pot

OMG! Hubs and the kiddos took me here for my birthday. I fell in love. The cheese, the meats, the chocolate. It was just all super yummy. As you can see here, London loved the chocolate fondue almost as much as momma did.

P110 One of Two Paintings

I'm just a busy bee this week when it comes to paintings. I have been working on this one for a Canvas and Corks class I am teaching next week, and I need to start working on an abstract painting I am donating to the Council for the Arts Fundraiser. Although it feels great to be painting again, it also means a lot of late nights.

P109 You Are My Hero

I am so proud of Hubs and the wonderful things he has accomplished in both his military and professional careers. Although he will kill me when he sees I posted this (he's very a very modest soul,) I really don't care. I can't help it. When I see his ribbons and medals on his chest, I get all misty-eyed. I admire you, J.

P108 It's Already Begun

The ladies are running their fingers through B's hair already. And who could blame them? Look at that face and those curls!

P107 Little Bro, Big Sis

Boy, do I love these kids.

P106 Sweet, Sweet . . .

. . . Sweet Allysum. Oh, how I love the way you smell.

P105 Lipstick on a Dude?

Nah. Just prunes. He may kill me for this picture when he's 15.

P104 Happy Hour, Baby

It may not be the Happy Hour that I enjoyed pre-kids, but this will do. I love me some Diet Strawberry Limeades from Sonic. They are my weakness.

P103 I Want 5 of These

Who's got $400 cash? Bueller? Bueller?

P102 All Smiles

All the time. I love this boy.

P101 Peek-A-Boo

I see you, Ro!

P100 Heaven on Earth

And it's name is Lurgan's Greenhouse.

P99 Building the Raised Garden Bed

It's always fun to whip out the saw. Wearing the protective glasses makes me feel especially professional, to boot.

P98 Even Daddy Can Use It

And he can take pretty darned good pictures, too.

P97 Finger Painting Gone Wild

If I wasn't so busy preventing paints from being flung across the room, this wouldn't have been my only picture of the day. After a handful of pics, things pretty much went downhill from here. But what a fun hill to go down.

P96 Cheese! Momma Has a New Camera

I am super geeked. Hubs got me a camera for my birthday. I cannot imagine life before my Canon Rebel t2i. In fact, I don't think that life is worth living with her. xoxo

P95 Peeping Tom No More

We are putting up some peel and stick window covering on the window above the soaker tub. Let's hope this is easy-peasy.

P94 Starting Solids

And there's no going back. He's hooked.

P93 Little Russian Girl?

Nope, just a little American girl rocking out a little "Russian-style" hat.

P92 Pillow aka: Cheap Tablecloth

Ok, so this is out of order, but I just can't bring myself to re-number the pictures on this blog; I still needed to post about this fun pillow. I made it out of a clearance table cloth that I found at Target. It took no time at all, and now proudly sits in our living room.

P91 PB & J

This is her favorite food. She would eat it for all three meals each day if I let her.

P90 Hood Rat

Well, not really, but I just like the title. And the hood on this kid. And how his eyes are peaking out of it.

p89 Grandma C can knit

And I am happy to be the benefactor of this amazing talent! She made this red jacket for London, complete with a precious tassel on the hood.

P88 Ears . . .

. . . face shape, eyes. . . . pretty much everything about Ro he got from his daddy. Everything except his transparent skin and his blue eyes. Oh, and his temperament. lol

P87 He's Taking a Bottle!

And I couldn't be happier. Momma's little helper likes to jump in and be the big sister. She loves him so much.

P86 Changing it Up

Now why have I never thought to put the TV hutch in the OTHER corner before? Hubs, you come up with some brilliant ideas sometimes, let me tell ya!

P85 "...the kid is not my son..."

So, this picture of Roman reminds me of the awesome song, "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson. I think it's the fedora placed every-so-slightly over the eye, perhaps?

P84 Dancing Queen

This girl just flat-out loves to dance!

P83 Brut Strength

Ok, not the most flattering picture of me, but the powers of the jacket helped me shovel a lot of this compost and mulch. . . along with the help of hubs, that is.

P82 My Heart is Goo

Times like this make me remember how lucky I am.

P81 Yeah, I'm Cute

Whatcha gonna do about it?

P80 14 Cents for This?!

Yes indeedy. These frames have been waiting for real pictures forever. I couldn't take the stock photo these frames had anymore, as all my visitors thought it was the same picture of me and the little guy in all of them. I found scrapbook paper at Michael's for 14 cents each. Doing this whole wall cost me under $1.50. Not too bad, huh?

P79 Time To Get Your Hats

Spring is here! I love taking the kiddos for walks during this weather. Just have to protect that fair, fair skin.

P78 I'm Stuck in the Shelf

Yes, this is what we heard screaming through the house. Poor thing. Started climbing up her shelves during "nap time" and got stuck. Is it bad that I made hubs run and get a camera to document this? lol

P77 A Gorgeous Day for a Play Date

This was a perfect day: a Friday, a great play date, a warm and fun day.

P76 The Letter of the Day: "F"

"F" is the start of many a great word. Fun. Freedom. FLOOD. Yes, FLOOD. We had a flood in the basement today. It could have been much worse, so we are thankful for that. But when I saw this foam letter floating about on the basement floor, "FLOOD" wasn't the word that came to mind. Use your imagination, please.

P75 One Bad Dude

Beware. My kid wears skulls and crossbones. He is one bad dude.

P74 Mom's Night Out

There were so many great pictures I could have posted about our night out, but I might get sued. Or beat up. Or patted on the back. Either way, here's one of us ladies before the shots started going down the hatch.

P73 Wasn't it Coco Chanel. . .

. . .who said, "before you leave the house, take off one accessory and you will be perfectly groomed"? (or something to that affect). My little lady will have to take off about four pieces to be ready to go out in public.

P72 Getting Primed Up

The master bedroom and bath are the last things that we decided to work on in the house. We figured, hey, no one but us sees it anyway. Well, it's time to prime the cabinets. I am getting excited!

P71 He Did it Again

Another race down. How many more hundred to go? Hubs finished the Chambersburg 1/2 Marathon today, and the kiddos and I were there to cheer him on. It was sunny (a lot better than last year's race day) but cold and windy. Right after this picture, hubby just about tossed the yogurt he had pre-race. Maybe I should have taken a picture of that? Way to go, baby!

P70 Laughter is the Best Medicine

And this picture is like a big ol' horse pill to me.

P69 Sausage Smiles

Smile! (What's with my kids and meat products?)

P68 Reading on the Pot

Yes, she is her daddy's girl. That's all I'm going to say. (and no, this picture wasn't staged in the least bit! lol)

P67 Happy Anniversary

Today is our 9th Wedding Anniversary. Hubby had to work tonight so I wasn't able to get any good pictures of us loving each other up. Instead, I thought I'd take a picture of something representing the day: a heart. This is an "installation" in the works. I have had these baskets forever, just waiting to put them on the wall somewhere. They will eventually be painted, but for now they hang in Lo's room as is. I love you, hubs.

P66 Sunshine or Red Hot Chili Peppers?

London has been having fun with her food lately. This morning, she decided to make a sunshine out of her pancake. Although I think it looks very much like a pancake, it also reminds me of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. She's a groovy chick.
