P30 Born to Be a Momma

Jeremy yelled, "Sasha! Bring your camera!" I ran upstairs and this is what I see: my baby being a momma. During her nap time, she decided to give Woody a nice nap too. She laid down a waterproof pad, covered him with her Lovey, and made sure he had water, a night light, and of course, a book to read. My heart melted.

P29 Give Me Chili

I really, really want some. I know that it's spicy, but I don't care. There's just something about the Chili Cook-Off at Ice Fest that brings out the "crazy" in me. Awwww, come on, dad!

P28 Kids' Best Friend

Our dog Luna, is pretty much the calmest, most patient dog God made and placed on this earth. Ro pulls on her ears, London dresses her up. . . and she takes it, over and over again. I can't imagine life without our sweet pup, and hope I won't have to for a very, very long time. Cheers to pound dogs!

P27 This Guy Needs Dental Work

Jeremy and I had fun making this funky snowman today. However, London "exited stage right" at the mere feeling of snow on her hands. She will not be an outdoors - type girl, I'm afraid.

P26 Baby and Bubbles

Roman is doing pretty good in the "big kids' tub". He and London love to splish - splash around. Now, to keep that chunky little face from taking a nose-dive into the bath water . . .

P25 Dishcloth Lovin'

I love anything homemade, and these are no exception. My old college roommate surprised me with a package filled with these yummy, hand crocheted washcloths. I adore them. I feel snazzy while cleaning, which is a rare, but good thing.

P24 Those Ears

That fur. Those eyes. That smile. Gosh, I think he's pretty stinkin' cute.

P23 Family Portrait

A Master of Arts in Two-Dimensional Design with concentrations in Drawing and Painting, and this is what London gets from me when she said, "draw Daddy, Mommy, London, Ro and Luna!"? She was pretty impressed, and I was pretty happy.

P22 Baby Jackson

In all honesty, this is a TAD bit late. But I had taken this sweet boy's picture with the intentions of posting it on that very day. Good things come to those that wait, though. What a sweet, sleepy little boy.

P21 Nasty, Nasty Stone

Before

After

The fireplace sucked. Period. When we moved here earlier last Spring, it was THEE one thing that I said just had to go. I painted the "stone" cream the first month we lived here, but today I got antsy. I decided to do a faux finish on the stone. And heck, while I was at it, I might as well paint the mantle and surround! I am much, much happier.

P20 Someone's Junk. . .

Is someone else's treasure. I've been saving broken crayon pieces that I find here and there. I thought London and I could make a mega-crayon with them, so we busted out the muffin tin and melted them all together. They are a bit too large for her little hands right now, but soon enough, they will fit just right.

P19 Pay-It-Forward, Creatively

My friend Tina, suggested a neat Pay-It-Forward for creative people. The first 5 that responded on Facebook to the creative call would receive a neat project. In turn, you make projects for others. I signed on for the gig and ended up making 7 gifts for friends (I couldn't turn them down. I love these women!) So here's what I ended up making: mini-journals according to their personalities. I can't wait to see what they come up with.

P18 Foot Fetish

God forbid that something even happen to London's hands; but I have a feeling she'd get along just fine. Like here momma, London can pick up just about anything with her toes. Now I just have to teach her how to write and paint with those cute Flintstone Feet.

P17 Play-Dough

It was an icy day today, so we made Play-Dough. London gets so wrapped up in her art projects, which I get wrapped up in observing. I had to snap out of it and remind myself, "these are camera moments"! A couple "clicks" and this is what we came up with.

P16 My "A"

She's a hoot, a fellow Michigander, a good cook, an even better drinker :). She's got creativity and humor coming out her pores. And she's my friend (pretty lucky, aren't I?) *confession: took this a week ago, but forgot to post!)

P15 Love Me Some Thrift Stores

And that's where I found this gem. Mahogany veneers, dovetail construction, $55. I think this needs to be moved into our master bedroom. I can SO see me sitting at this in the mornings doing my face.

P14 Road Kill

Well, at least that's what Woody looks like, right about now. London has been playing with him non-stop ever since the "Paci Fairy" left him.

P13 Paci, Be Gone!

The Paci Fairy is coming! The Paci Fairy is coming! And you know what? She'll take all of your pacies and leave a nice gift (aka: a Woody Doll from Toy Story). She'll be so proud of you, just like your daddy and I are.

P12 XOXO

I am so proud of London and the true love and sweetness she shows her brother every day.

P11 We've Got a Sitter!

Well, maybe more like a "Sloucher" who looks like he has the fear of God in him, but I'll take it!

P10 Potty Training Panache

Firefighter hat? Check
Leopard-print shirt? Check
Blue Cinderella slippers? Check (thanks, Jess!)
Pink Dora Sunglasses? Check
Polka Dot waterproof pantie? Check
Thumbs-Up to Fabulousity!

P9 My Stomach in My Loins

Ok, weird title, but you know that feeling you get deeeeeep inside when you look down from a high place? That's what I felt when I saw hubby climbing up the ladder to paint our 2 story foyer walls. Ugh. He kept yelling for me to "hold the ladder!" I kept telling him, "I need a picture of this!"

P8 First Snow

And I am shoveling our driveway. Did hubby say he would do it? Yes. Did I insist on doing it myself to get some flipping exercise? Yes. Did hubby know that I am doing a 365 project and covertly snapped pictures of me wiping the sweat off my brow while the shoveling kicked my butt? YES!

P7 Piggies

There is something about pigtails of any kind: braided, twisted . . . they're easy for the momma-on-the-go and melt my heart on little ones. London wanted to "look like momma" today, so we did her up right.

P6 I cheated

Ok, so this wasn't technically taken TODAY, but life got in the way and I needed a picture. This just melts my heart, so I figured, I can be forgiven, right?

P5 Sheer Joy

I just love this kid. Her smile is one that brightens my day, everyday.

P4 Crafty Critter

So I have been yearning for the French Country look in the house. I simply refuse to spend the huge price tags to get the look, so I am going to create it myself.

P3 Stink Bug!

They have taken over our house. They have created chaos and screaming, sleepless nights and tears. But today, while daddy calmly showed London a Stink Bug up close and personal, she didn't seem to mind. She actually brought out the Strawberry Shortcake "camera" to take pictures. And after the sweet moment had ended, he was flushed down the toilet!

P2 True Dat

Mommy sure does need a date night! But oh, would I miss this sweet face while I was gone.
